Jobber for Mobile Mechanics: Built for the House, Not the Car
Jobber is easy to use and popular with home-service trades, but it files work under clients and properties, not vehicles. Its pages describe no customer vehicle record or plate lookup and list no inventory, routing starts on the $139 Connect plan, and two-way texting on the $199 Grow plan.
57.5 / 100, ranked #3 of 8. Mobile Service Sync scores 100.0. Best for: Lawn care, cleaning, HVAC and other work tied to a property rather than a vehicle.
Jobber in a Driveway
Jobber's app is on iPhone and Android, and its online booking on the $49 Core plan respects a radius and drive time, which is better than most. But the record is the client and the property. Nothing on Jobber's site describes a customer vehicle, so the year, make, model and engine live in a notes field.
Routing starts on Connect at $139 a month. Two-way texting starts on Grow at $199, and automatic review requests come with the $99 Marketing Suite. Offline, Jobber saves checklists and notes, but its help center says the schedule is read only without signal.
Jobber does not list inventory on its pricing or feature pages, so the van's filters and parts are tracked elsewhere.

What a Mobile Mechanic Gets Instead
Mobile Service Sync keeps the friendly parts (booking with limits, a clean app) and puts the car at the center: plate to VIN lookup, routing and two-way texting on the $49 first plan, stock counted per van, and an app that closes jobs with no signal.
